Terms

Last updated June 10, 2026.

Plain-language terms for using melchor.app and the Melchor app.

Use of the site

melchor.app is offered as is, for personal use. Blog content is informational; we try to verify prices and availability, but stores change them without warning.

Your account

You need to be 14 or older to use Melchor. You can use the app anonymously — no email, no name — and upgrade to a real account later; your lists come with you. Keep your sign-in to yourself: whatever happens through your account is on you.

Your content

Your wishes, lists and photos are yours. You give us the permission we need to host them and show them to the people you share them with — that's it, and it ends when you delete them. Don't post anything illegal or that isn't yours to share.

Affiliate disclosure

Some product links (in the app and on the blog) are affiliate links, through programs like Amazon Associates and other partners. If you buy through them, we earn a small commission. It never changes the price you pay.

Intellectual property

The Melchor brand and the original blog content are ours. Product names, store logos, and product photos belong to their owners and are used here under legitimate editorial use.

Liability

We're a small team writing about gifts. We can't guarantee a product will suit you, that it's in stock, or that the price holds when you click. Confirm at the store before buying.

Termination

You can leave any time: Settings → Delete account in the app removes everything, for real. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms or the law — with notice, unless the abuse is serious. Your data follows the privacy policy either way.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you're a consumer in the EU, you keep every protection of your country of residence, and you can bring disputes before the courts where you live. Nothing here takes that away.

Dispute resolution

We are neither willing nor obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board. Got a problem? Email us first — we answer.

Changes

We may update these terms. The "last updated" date above tells you when. If you keep using the site, you accept the current version.
