How we make money.
No catch. Melchor is free and runs on one thing: optional affiliate links. Here's the whole deal, in plain English.
The model in one paragraph
When you add a gift to your list, its product link can become an affiliate one. If someone buys that gift, the store leaves us a small percentage. You pay the same: the commission comes out of the store's margin, not your pocket. (There can be links like this on the blog too.)
What the store sees
The store sees the click came from Melchor. It doesn't see your name, your email, your list, or anything about you. We send them a visit; we send them nothing about you.
What we see
A monthly summary per program: totals, no names. We don't see what anyone bought in particular, and we don't cross-reference purchases with your list activity.
Where the links are
In the product links on your wishes, and maybe on the blog. Never as ads, and never tracking you.
Why this model
Because the alternatives, ads and data sales, force you to track people. Affiliates don't. They pay the bills without touching your privacy.
If you'd rather not click anything
Don't. The app works exactly the same. We'd rather you use Melchor for years than click once and disappear.
